And how do we feel about this yellow cove lighting in the fancy smancy kitchen of 701 3rd Ave in the Inner Richmond? Although we like the idea of cove lighting in decadent commercial properties (like hotels), it's rarely pulled off well in residences. At when it is, it's usually in some type of grand room, not a kitchen. Also, yellow? We're sure it isn't bright enough to change the coloration of food, but we can't help but be skeptical. With all that said, we do like the idea of a funky and different approach to playing with light in your home. And it does look good with the surrounding furniture and finishes. So, dear readers, what do you think? Yellow cove lighting in the kitchen: hot or not?
