Students at Urban School of SF Create Startlingly Comprehensive Eco-Wiki

We could spend all day reading GreeningSanFrancisco, an ecologically-minded wiki created by students at the Urban School of SF. It's a remarkable piece of collaborative reporting -- rather than have students each independently write a bunch of redundant reports (as was the standard procedure back in our time), they all worked together to create a resource that is more impressive and complete than many professional works that we've seen. The site covers Bay Area waste reduction, alternative fuels, water use, and more; and the whole project gives us hope that the future of the interweb is not just limited to flashing myspaces and Jonas Brothers slash fiction.
