Not all Peninsula cities are on the high-speed rail lawsuit bandwagon: while Menlo Park, Atherton, and Palo Alto are trying to recruit more supporters to help sue the fast train into the ground (they literally want to make it go underground), Redwood City says there's no need. Yet, anyway. Here's the mayor being annoyingly reasonable: "We don't have all the information yet. How could we possibly make that kind of decision? I think we have to be open to all options." That's just another way of saying, "I like loud trains and big barriers." [SF Gate]
