Two Curbed shows: one once-in-a-lifetime crossover special. Pagoda Theater, North Beach's long dead shell of a building at Powell and Columbus (quick! somebody file for an emergency demolition!). And graffiti (street art, if you will), Mr. C.W. Nevius's story of the month as we ponder how— and why!— we let taggers take over the city's walls. On Friday evening, North Beach resident Jackson West noticed "a swarm of graffitos ... updating the mural" on the carcass of the Pagoda Theater. Maybe the next iteration should depict a restaurant with condos on top. [Curbed Inbox]
