Kezar Stadium adherents can stand down for now— rumors, namely from savekezar.com, that the Golden Gate Park stadium would be put up for sale, are not true. What is true, however, is the Rec & Parks Department is squeezed for cash, and they're still in middle of floating ideas for how to make ends meet. According to the stadium manager for Rec & Parks, one idea is something like a $30 punch card that people could buy for a set number of visits to the stadium. The Kezar Stadium Advisory Committee, we hear, is not so hot on the idea, but it would seem options are not many, short of some miraculous bake sale. For now, call up your free Kezar track miles and tell them how much you love them.
