Rents Shaved By $200

New, 30 comments

A story in the Examiner today makes it sound like vicious renters in the city are enjoying a feeding frenzy on cheaper apartments. Landlords desperate to find renters are dropping incentives left and right, from a free month's rent to free parking. A broker's quoted as saying "rents are dropping by $200 citywide," while the San Francisco Apartment Association says, "We’re running a vacancy rate which is unheard of in San Francisco." Commence feeding frenzy! [SF Examiner]
