Thinking Caps Out for Masonic

New, 2 comments

The expected approval of the long-awaited Bicycle Plan is supposed to shower bike projects all over the city, and the Masonic Avenue Traffic Calming Plan might get in on some of that action too. The plan will start counting heads, on bikes, on streets, and on buses, to figure out how best to "fix" the corridor— with removing auto lanes being a possibility. And Rob Anderson, anti-bike-plan agitator? No words from him in this latest write-up, but here he is in the Guardian: "They're going to have to decide how much we want to screw up the streets for this small minority." That's one way to put it. [Public Press]
