A new resort in Monterey promises to be the greenest eco-resort, EVER. Built on the site of an old sand mine, Monterey Bay Shores will have a 5-acre living roof, green walls, be powered by wind, solar, and geothermal, use gray-water irrigation, and will restore 85 percent of the site to native plants and animals. We'd say something about green fatigue, but it also looks pretty cool. [Inhabitat]
