Stairwell Reveal at U.N. Plaza: Shiny

New, 7 comments

More gleam, less grime at Market and 7th, where the wooden barriers that have hidden the BART stairwell's rehab at U.N. Plaza have been stripped away. Behind: the old stair walls have been done away with, and in their place, a shiny new set of steel rails. No word on whether this is going to hit the other stairwells, but we see no problem with the new look, barring any tragedies involving stuck heads.
