iPhone City

CNN's the latest to report on the "Gov 2.0," the fun new media buzzword referring to cities unleashing their data unto the iPhoned masses. Recent examples of apps born of municipal data include Routesy (that Muni times app) and EcoFinder (which tells users where to drop their broken computers). But the article's leading example: Craig Newmark uploading a picture of a hot stuffy train to SeeClickFix. City's response: totally on it. Ahhh, civic engagement. [CNN]
