Oakland House Sells 'Tahoe by the Bay' Next to a Sewage Plant

New, 2 comments

No denying the spruce-up 3917 Field St's undergone at the end of this Oakland cul-de-sac. And the property's even listed under contingent status, after having been on the market for only 48 days. Still, one reader writes in wondering whether this isn't a case of hyperbole. The listing writers call it an "urban oasis, Tahoe by the Bay," maybe because of the "water filled reservoir" across the street, i.e. a "wastewater treatment plant," according to our reader. And the cul-de-sac terminates at the 580 freeway. Nice. Asking price: $369,000, but should it be lower?
