Fun With Maps, Population Edition

The guy behind Fake Is the New Real is an urban planner and an artist (whom we had the pleasure of meeting this past summer). That explains the nerdy awesome infographics on his site — one of which pops metro areas out of their states and then sorts everyone together in a big list. The lesson: New York City's more populous than anyone, and the San Francisco Bay Area weighs in between the state of South Carolina and Phoenix, Ariz. Guess we can't cut in line or anything...
