Fury Unleashed in Nob Hill

New, 11 comments

In other neighborhood clampdown news, a Nob Hill heiress is waging a battle to get dogs in Huntington Park leashed again. The SF Weekly reported a couple weeks ago that Marion Cope, whose husband co-owned Huntington Hotel, was mauled in November while walking her own, leashed dog. She fired off an email to the Nob Hill Association from her hospital bed, and now leashed vs. unleashed is totally an awkward topic around the neighborhood. That's how it goes. Says the WSJ: "With more dogs than children in the city by some estimates, dog owners often lock horns with petless residents in San Francisco's 219 parks." [WSJ]
