Hayes Valley's 231 Franklin Gets a Name and a Website: LindenHayes

Meet LindenHayes, the official knighted name of 231 Franklin. The building's website has just launched, complete with floorplan porn for every single one of its 32 units. Hayes Valley's newest kid on the block appeared all of a sudden in fall of 2008, and just recently unwrapped its scaffolding. A new Craigslist ad fishing for an earnest lover prospective buyers ("Please reply if you are seriously interested") says the "elegant, modern condominiums ... are nearing completion with occupancy expected mid-February." Apparently, pricing's not set yet, so they just want to know how much you love the place. As we heard last month, hot brunch/cafe spot The Grove is on its way to the ground floor of the building, which will have 1-, 2-, and 3-bedrooms. New info: the architect is Sternberg Benjamin Architects, while Marta Fry Landscape Architects did the inner courtyard. The developer's done other buildings in the city, of which "noted addresses are" 3949 Sacramento, 3316-3328 California, The Coliseum at 741 Clement, and 798 Stanyan.
