So maybe solar panels can be dangerous after all, though not so much in the falling on pedestrians' heads way, or even in the dangerously ugly way. The SF Examiner reports that firefighters are encountering more and more of the rooftop panels thanks to the GoSolarSF incentives program, and that one wrong chop to a charged panel could send a nasty shock on a sunny day.
