Cathedral Hill Hotel Closes

This past Halloween was the final day for Cathedral Hill Hotel on Van Ness, once the cool, if reviled for its boxy modernist shape, Jack Tar Hotel. In its place will eventually go the Cathedral Hill Hospital (ETA: 2015), whose development will also require the razing of the buildings across Van Ness for medical office buildings.
