Mission Bay Debut: Mission Walk, 131 Affordable Condos

New, 29 comments

Meet Mission Bay's latest entrant: Mission Walk at 335 Berry St, 131 low to moderate income condos and townhomes for sale. Developer Bridge Housing got funding from the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency for the project, whose rebar we first caught going up in March of last year— and later in a shot from the houseboat side of Mission Creek. The neighborhood, if one should call it that, is bristling now with its latest arrivals, including Mission Walk's next-door neighbor the Arterra, which just recently celebrated its LEED awarding with a ceremony. (Speaking of which, Mission Walk should be nabbing a LEED rating as well.) Designed by Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects, there are 25 one-bedrooms, 82 two-bedrooms, and 24 three-bedrooms, ranging between $160,000 and $303,000. There is, however, a catch! Buyers must have incomes within a certain range: no more than $75,450 a year for a couple, for example, meaning the Richie Riches will have to stick to condos of the more lavish variety.
