A public housing project that's undergoing a revamp in Hunters Point has lost its "most radical element": market-rate homes. They're gone from the first of three phases, anyway, since the market's gone to the toilet yada yada yada. The market-rate homes were supposed to help pay for rebuilding Hunters View, but now those will likely have to rely on other monies, or just otherwise hang tight. [SF Examiner]
