PriceChopper: Movie Theater Loft Sinks Past 2004 Sale Price

Or, about 43,500 movies just below at the AMC Van Ness theater. This poor 2-bed, 2-bath loft in the Marquee commands a hefty 2,300 square feet. It also, at one point, commanded a whopping $1.8 mil on the listing service. Not bad, for a property that sold in 1998 for a little over 600 grand, and then in 2004 for $1.4 mil. By the looks of it, the price is coming down a little closer to earth, which means a little more cash for the buyer to spend on $10 popcorns.
