Storefronts Return, Sort Of

New, 1 comment

The city's soon-to-launch Art in Storefronts program gets some Time magazine ink in a story about what people are doing with vacant storefronts these days. Besides letting them lie empty, that is. There are the temporary art exhibitions, the floor-to-ceiling ads, and also the civic uses: health clinic, campaign offices, swap meet, library, what have you. It's a veritable renaissance of empty storefront usage! [Time, previously]
