Artist/architect Maya Lin, who designed the California Academy of Science's wireframe thing of San Francisco's hills, might have created her last art piece memorial!, ever. That would be "What is Missing?", a big cone thing also at the Academy that is a tribute to extinct animal species. Lin rocketed to design fame when she won a blind competition at the age of 21 to design the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in D.C., and now her office is saying that she's done for good.
