Hayes Shops Update: Due Date Between January and February

New, 3 comments

Troubles between management and construction workers have apparently subsided at Hayes Valley's 231 Franklin, where behind the scaffolding a pretty solid-looking building is now emerging. A note dropped to neighbors reads just so:

We are on schedule to substantially finish work on the project by late January to mid-February. As the end of October approaches the scaffolding on the building will disappear and the sidewalks around the building will begin being removed and replaced in preparation for the completion of the ground floor. Going forward most of the work on the project will continue on the inside of the building with some finish work continuing on the exterior.
The note also says a stork will be dropping by this weekend to deliver some baby stairs.
