Economy's crashed, along with the construction industry, along with architecture at large. Who still wants to be an architect? Plenty of people, finds a story in the Times UK, which shows that arch students aren't your typical pizza-for-breakfast type: "They've always worked a damned sight harder. You won't find them living up to the student stereotype. Hundred-hour weeks are quite normal." Then again, they don't always end up doing architecture. A couple recent graduates from University College London do Björk videos now, and a couple others make "architectural jellies for A-list clients." And sneak a few at snack time too, we're sure.
