We've got some more deets on 231 Franklin, the fat-cat development on Franklin and Hayes that's squeezing its skinny construction workers beyond what's considered socially appropriate. Word is they'll be occupant-ready by fall of this year. The numbers are a little different now: 32 residential units on top, with 7,600 square feet of retail or restaurant space (almost 3,000 more than previously reported), and, judging by the above rendering, a certain affinity for furniture stores. That doesn't say anything about the tenants who'll actually end up in that space, but let's just say no one's betting against at least one more classy outlet for interior decor.
