SFO Eyes the Nicer Stuff for Terminal 2

New, 1 comment

Tough times means cheap labor for SFO. Contractors are willing to take on work for less than usual for the $383 million Terminal 2 project, a relax-tastic, slow-food-friendly addition slated to be the future home of Virgin America, JetBlue, and perhaps other bargain favorites of the Gen Y set. The cheaper rates mean the airport will be able to splurge on the "finer details" of the terminal design. Managed-forest bamboo paneling: check. [SF Examiner]
