Miffed Market Sues RE Division for $1 Mil

New, 2 comments

Last month, the Board of Supervisors revoked the permits for an antique market that has operated in U.N. Plaza for the past ten years. The proprietor of said bazaar is up in arms over what she considers an illegal confiscation of her enterprise, and is suing the city's Real Estate Division for $1 million in damages, $100,000 for each year the market was in business. Ironically enough, the Supes rejected Gav's attempt to take over the twice-weekly farmer's market at U.N. Plaza. [SF Gate]
