PriceSpotter Big Reveal: The No-Longer-Oriental Warehouse

New, 6 comments

PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from an apartment listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Wednesday reveal. And hey, cheaters never win, and winners never cheat!

The lofts of 650 Delancey Street— a.k.a. the Oriental Warehouse — are all about the exposed materials— here in #309, the heavy wood beams. (Pricespotters among you noted that with a ceiling full of built-in scratching posts, is the perfect loft for a crazy cat lady.) Asking: $979,000. While most hovered around the million dollar mark, Cake or Death (who obviously keeps tabs on foreign currencies) came closest with a bid of 6,822,328 Chinese Yuan (or $998,000). Do note that, according to a reader report, the "Oriental" in "Oriental Warehouse" has been painted out on the building's exterior. Thanksmuch.
