I support the Whole Foods store. It's essential that we have a full
service grocery store in this area. Housing over retail is smart density.
I've stated this publicly for quite some time. There is a great deal of
misinformation being circulated about the status of this project - it's on
track according to the Planning Department (Larry Badiner) and the Mayor's
Office of Economic Development (Rich Hillis). Even Whole Foods Vice
President, Glenn Moon, has expressed alarm over the disinformation tactics.
