What about a good public shaming? So suggests a reader in response to yesterday's post on the subject: " We need to hold street dumpers accountable. I live in Berkeley and it's rampant there (along with old couches, stained mattresses, electronics etc with free signs) ... I also have a home made sign that says stop dumping in our streets that I tape to offenders doors and junk piles (it usually works. Shames them into acting like adults!) ... Take your junk to a donation center! I, for one, don't want to live in a slum." Shall we start a shame game here on Curbed SF? Snap your on-street finds and send 'em in, people.
