PriceSpotter Big Reveal: Frankly, My Dear, We Don't Give a Damn

New, 2 comments

PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from an apartment listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Wednesday reveal. And hey, cheaters never win, and winners never cheat!

This week, the object of your PriceSpotting affections was 35 Santa Ana Avenue, a 3,264 square foot single-family home in Saint Francis Wood that, to put it politely, hasn't really kept up with the times. Renovations are obviously needed, perhaps more so than most of you realized— guesses this week were a little on the high side, with most falling in the $2 million range. $1,689,000 is the actual listing price, making reader prodigal the winner of this week's challenge with a guess of $1.5 million. Said reader One Wag of the home's "sweeping Gone with the Wind staircase." Can't say we disagree.
