Hey, someone out there read our latest Ask Curbed, and delivered some rent advice, via the national media: the National Apartment Association is laying some of the blame for the housing crisis on the current administration's obsession with an "ownership society." Says the NAA's prez: "The American dream has become the American nightmare. ... We need a balanced housing policy." In other words, if you can't afford the white-picket fence, get over it and rent.
