The Hunt Is On: Historic Buildings in SoMa

In preparation for the Transbay development, the city has hired "historical resources" consultants Kelley & VerPlanck to identify historic buildings in SoMa. Once the precious buildings are ID'd, planners say, they'll know what's on the table before any razing moves ahead (or not). A Planning Commission meeting tomorrow will have a preliminary looksee at some historic buildings that are standing in the way of progress may be under threat. [Examiner]
