On the Market: Sean and Robin Wright-Penn's Not-so-Humble Abode

New, 8 comments

Sean Penn and Robin Wright-Penn have stepped into the real estate ring, placing their palatial abode on the market. (And yes, it's in Ross, not the city. But whatever.) The Penn's bought the 2.2-acre property and 10,000 square foot home, built in 1933, for $2.1 million in 1996; a two year-long renovation yielded the results seen here, featuring perhaps the most hideous home gym we've yet seen, artfully staged as it may be. Extra-bonus luxuries: "hand-hewn" wood beamed ceilings and floors; a two-bedroom guest house replete with its very own two-car garage; three cars' worth of parking at the main house; and an au pair suite for ... the help. $15 million, asking.
