The Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco is at City Hall, dropping off the 11,944 citizens' signatures needed to place a proposition on the ballot that, if passed, will rename the city's Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant the George W. Bush Sewage Plant. The fat lady hasn't sung yet— recall, for example, the special interest group that managed to garner enough signatures to propose an Angel Island Peace Pagoda (or whatever sort of karmic crack den that was) last year.
