You tag it, you clean it. So says a new California law pushed by our graffiti-riddled friends down in L.A. The law, signed by Arnold yesterday (no doubt inspired by NYC's mayor emeritus Ed Koch!) makes it mandatory for people convicted of graffiti vandalism to clean up the surfaces they've defaced — in some cases for up to a year. Aww, graffiti guardians. What will this do to San Francisco's self-styled graffiti artists, we wonder? [LA Times]
