Blame the budget: parking fees are climbing skyward as the SFMTA attempts to close a $15 million budget deficit this year. Current parking violations under $90 will go up a comparatively tame $10, while boot-removal fees will jump to a mind-boggling $205 from $75. More fiscal "incentives" to switch to public transit?
