A boozy Curbed SF operative took a few notes while "drunkenly packing away the schwag bags" during last night's SPUR fund raising event, the 2008 Bay Discovery Cruise: "People were chattering on about a woman who tried to jump off the boat during last years' cruise— also heard someone from SPUR say that they've learned that "the less content the better." In previous years, apparently, the cruise was a lot more complicated and involved more programming. This year there was no program; there were boards up with pics and descriptions of projects in the city and Bay Area, but pretty much everyone ignored them and just schmoozed for three hours before we docked again."
