New, 2 comments

Highlights from today's "unveiling" of the 2008-2009 budget for the Board of Supes include: $2.3M more for street repaving over last year, for a total of $38.7M, $19M for homeless services and permanent placement, $30.8M for 410 units of senior affordable housing, $28.6M for 668 units of rental housing for families, and $28.6M for homeownership programs like down payment assistance for first-time homebuyers. We eagerly await the Board's response. (PDF) See it all here. [SF Gov]
