Rethinking Renzo

The First and Mission Streets site of a proposed pair of 1200-footers designed by Renzo Piano is on the market, and it could go for up to $140 million. Credit and liquidity conditions being what they are at present, land owner David Choo has decided to sell the land as part of a seven-parcel assemblage. The proposed towers, situated across from the Transbay Terminal, won Curbed recognition for chutzpah in 2006 for its sheer, well, chutzpah. [SF Biz Journal]
