Lennar Corp, with respective best buddy and enemy Props G and F in tow, takes the national stage today, with the New York Times calling the Hunters Point project possibly the largest urban redevelopment project in the nation. Not much more going on than what's been going on—1,600 condominium apartments and town homes on 63 acres is phase one; subsequent phases, which may or may not include a new Candlestick Park, 10,000 homes, 2 million square feet of research and office buildings, and 600,000 square feet of retail space, are the subject of a great deal of debate. Prop G for more development, F for stoppage and rethinkage. Bask in the stalemate. [NYT]
