Construction Update: All Glassed Up at 370 3rd Street

New, 1 comment

Previously known as the ugly SBC building, 370 3rd Street will soon be known as the slightly-less-ugly old SBC building. Renovation is well underway; a new glass atrium is the most obvious update, enclosing what used to be open balconies. Glass to come for the ground floor, while the rest of the facade will see the addition of metal "accent panels." As for the interior, upgrades include a new lobby, new elevator cabs, and additional parking. The SF Redevelopment Agency hopes the renovation of the 448,000 square foot office building will help revitalize the Yerba Buena neighborhood— gotta keep up with Libeskind and all.
