A Zeppelin for San Francisco, You Say?

New, 1 comment

With the Segway scooters, Smart cars, and modified bikes tearing up the streets of San Francisco as-is , why not take it all the way? San Francisco-based Airship Adventures has rounded up $8 million to launch its first zeppelin in the fall. About 20% larger than a blimp (but small enough to hold just 12 people and a crew) the zeppelin is being developed primarily for tourist and scientific use. A spin around (or rather, above) the city will run around $250 to $500. Thrifty!
