1) LA: Listen, Tighe Architects: Just because people can't afford market rate housing doesn't mean they want their apartment complex to look like a shattered crack rock. May we suggest some sensitivity training?
2) LA: The Blob Wall, a "Conceptual alternative for use of the common brick in everyday construction." How about not?
3) New York: Of course some damn Brooklynites win Apartment Therapy's Small Cool 2008 award for having a small and cool apartment. Our guess: Bedford Avenue between Broadway and Division, perhaps. Maybe Boerum Hill. Probably not Redhook. Shit, it could be anywhere ...
