Pens the Chron's Carol Lloyd in today's Bay Area fluff job: As the real estate market continues to behave like a folded paper cootie catcher, with radically divergent fortunes depending on which flap you open, I've been scratching my head trying to figure out why places like San Francisco, Albany and Sausalito are not following the downward trend with the rest of the dirt patches we call home.
