Don Fisher & The Gang showed up in this weekend's New York Times, in a piece chronicling the saga of Fisher's Gluckman-Mayner designed Contemporary Art Museum of the Presidio. No shock and awe for those following the drama, as the piece basically sketched a portrait of the shitshow between pro-CAMPers and their historical preservationist counterparts. Peskin even got a word in, slamming Fisher as a billionaire who "[thinks he] can have everything they want and the public be damned.” Said a swashbuckling Fisher, straight up “Other people have ideas for it. But they don’t have any money.” Truth: told. [NYT]
