Parents of Mission Terrace have a new
place to dump their kids off cause for celebration as their nabe will soon see a new playground. The so-called state-of-the-art playground will be built by volunteers from the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (huh?) ... in one day. (Hustle!) "When we first started advocating for a new park, I didn't think it would be done by the time my kids were still kids," says a local resident, who seems all too familiar with the typical planning and construction process in San Francisco. The Mission Terrace Park will be built tomorrow, and after some finishing touches, should be open for biz by next week.
