Optimists, relent! For the fourth straight month, Bay Area home values and sales figures tanked to hell in February; resale prices slipped by 14.8 percent. Harsh. No luck on the selling end, either: 2,590 Bay Area homes sold last month, down 37.4% from a year ago. Double harsh. And here we thought everything was just swell. [SF Chron]
