It's the small things that give us pleasure, really. Like passing by 717 Market and watching the newly unveiled street-front take shape as workers finish the joint work on the granite facade panels. Two new storefronts will flank the building lobby with that new signature chandelier. Market street buildings seem to be getting some subtle work done lately. Nothing to rave about surely, but taken all together, the face of downtown is slowly looking a little less wrinkly.
