Greener Than Thou is our report on San Francisco’s obsession with all things green, calling bullshit in the poseurs and lavishing praise on those who have secured their place in environmental paradise. Feeling morally superior on the green front? Testify!

Plug1 of whatimseeing.com hopped the #10 Townsend line this morning to test out MUNI's latest marketing scheme nod to environmentalism, a green (95% emission-free) and WiFi-enabled bus. Still in it's pilot phase, the coach is tricked out with a hell of a lot of green vinyl, plus four touch screen computers allow riders to access bus routes and Google coordinates, for instance. (Do we even need you, MUNI? Two words: Edge Network.) MUNI launched its latest toy in the wake of a press conference of little note, during which Gavin and Co. rambled on about eliminating lines and stops and . . . [picture us nodding off right about here].
