Plug1 of whatimseeing.com hopped the #10 Townsend line this morning to test out MUNI's latest
marketing scheme nod to environmentalism, a green (95% emission-free) and WiFi-enabled bus. Still in it's pilot phase, the coach is tricked out with a hell of a lot of green vinyl, plus four touch screen computers allow riders to access bus routes and Google coordinates, for instance. (Do we even need you, MUNI? Two words: Edge Network.) MUNI launched its latest toy in the wake of a press conference of little note, during which Gavin and Co. rambled on about eliminating lines and stops and . . . [picture us nodding off right about here].
