Signatures are the coin of the realm here in San Francisco and it's now been officially announced that after collecting over 13,000 names, Lennar Corp. will see its Candlestick redevelopment plan on the ballot June 3. (Obligatory recap: the Newsom-backed plan includes zoning changes to permit retail, a new stadium for the 49ers, and new housing.) Chris Daly's rival gang of signees have also collected the required number of signatures for a competing measure requiring that half the homes in Lennar's proposal be priced at below-market rates. It's gonna be a fun summer. [SF Gate]
